Intrica offers three levels of WordPress support maintenance for website content management systems in WordPress. As a platform, it is essential that WordPress is constantly maintained and is up-to-date with security and bug-fixes, to prevent data leaks, downtime and other problems down the road.
As a responsible hosting company, we endeavour to help our customers by undertaking this maintenance at a very small cost. An invaluable service that safeguards your site and leaves you worry free.
Peace of mind with WordPress Support & Maintenance
If you would like us to monitor, update, check and support your website, we offer three levels of service. You can then be confident that your website remains up-to-date and secure, giving you peace-of-mind. In fact, we are so confident of our support that if your site is hacked or defaced, we will guarantee to fix* or restore it to a safe state for you – at no extra cost.
* Fix may be dependent on third party software/plugins. In this event your site may be restored with reduced functionality.
Basic: Maintenance Only
With our basic maintenance contract, we will review your website every month, doing the essential security updates along with plugin updates – verifying these all function as intended. In the event that an update causes a problem, we will remove that plugin or update, and let you know our recommendations.
Standard: Support & Maintenance
In addition, we will install and monitor Wordfence Free Edition. Wordfence is an application firewall and threat scanner. We will provide up to two hours support per month in the event your site is hacked, defaced or otherwise compromised, helping you get back up and running.
If you require us to help with any updates, changes or other developments outside of this support, you will receive a 20% discount on our hourly rate.
Enhanced: Support & Maintenance PLUS
We will provide up to four hours support per month in the event your site is hacked, defaced or otherwise compromised, helping you get back up and running. If you don’t need this support in any month, we will undertake some search engine optimisation and site promotion on your behalf.
If you require us to help with any updates, changes or other developments outside of this support, you will receive a 30% discount on our hourly rate.
Finally, we will add your website to our server monitoring, notifying of us any downtime, day or night. In the event of problems, there is a good chance we will have it fixed before anyone notices!
Additional Benefits
Hosting
If you host your website with us, it makes it easier to locate, diagnose and fix issues. For that reason, we will host your website at no additional cost* – we will even assist with the move.
Our hosting includes overnight backups of your website. We cannot guarantee this with any other hosting facility, therefore if you do not host with us then we cannot guarantee that we are able to restore to a fully working site. This would depend on the ability to restore a previous version from by your existing hosting provider.
An SSL certificate is essential for any website that collects information – even a simple contact form. We provide a domain validated certificate free of charge with all our hosting plans as well as your domain name.
The enhanced level of support also includes free cloud delivery network (CDN) hosting. This provides faster delivery of your pages and graphics via a worldwide network of caching servers.
